Computers, hobby, work, life?

My flat looks like a graveyard for old computers. I am trying to turn this old components into working machines. Success ist not always guaranteed but it is entertaining. And if then, after hours of hard work, a computer is working exactly like a computer has to work I can celebrate another victory. After that I try to give the PC to somebody which can use it because I need the space to build a new (old) one.

A side effect of this acitvity is that I have now a network including a Pentium 90 (WinNT, Printer, Proxy, RAS), a Pentium 133 (Linux SuSE 6.2), a AMD K6/233 (WindowsNT, Windows95, IIS, main workstation) and a AMD K6 II/400 (Windows 98 second edition, workstation) at home. It's nice for network games and you can learn a lot by maintaining/improving the whole system.
